Contractor review process
The installer is confirmed for the project—not assumed from a directory listing.
Tiling.ca works through established personal and trade relationships. Suitability is reviewed against the actual location, material, scope and schedule before responsibilities are confirmed.

What we clarify before installation begins.
- 1
Relevant scope experience
We consider whether the contractor’s known work and practical experience fit the proposed shower, floor, repair, large-format or commercial scope.
- 2
Location and schedule fit
Service area, site access, sequencing, availability and the ability to work within the property’s operating constraints are confirmed project by project.
- 3
Business and coverage details
The responsible business or individual is identified. Insurance, WSIB status, permits or other documents are requested when relevant to the work or property requirements; requirements differ by project.
- 4
Written responsibility
The quote or agreement should identify preparation, waterproofing, supply, installation, exclusions, schedule, payment terms and who stands behind each part of the work.
- 5
Communication and follow-up
Tiling.ca remains the coordination contact for the agreed scope and records material changes, concerns or handoffs that arise during the project.
What this does not mean
Review is not a blanket certification or guarantee.
Suitability can change with scope, personnel, documents and site conditions. Customers should review the named contracting party, current insurance or building requirements, written warranty and payment terms before authorizing work.
A clear first step
Send enough detail to review the right project fit.
Location, photographs, approximate dimensions, material ideas and timing help us assess the appropriate installation path.
